Over 200 enjoy 4th annual Saving Downtown dance

More than 200 revelers enjoyed an exciting evening at the WT Neal Civic Center on Saturday night, September 27th. The 4th annual Saving Downtown Blountstown dance was an overwhelming success.

Cliff Ellis and a group of talented musicians entertained the crowd with music from the 1960s and 1970s. The music evoked memories of the nights that The Villagers played at the American Legion hall many years ago.

Tremendous progress has been made on the Commerce Building as a result of the success of this annual event. The support of hundreds of individuals, businesses, the Calhoun County Board of County Commissioners and the City of Blountstown is most appreciated.

Everyone continues to come together to support and save old Blountstown.

Please stay tuned for future fundraising events to benefit downtown Blountstown.
