Woman threatens man with knife, both are jailed

A Blountstown couple was arrested Thursday after a domestic dispute turned violent. Constance Amelia Jackson, 54, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She allegedly pulled a knife on Myles Daniel Brown, 55, and threatened to kill him. According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Dep. Bobby Sims responded to a home on Cow Patch Road where witnesses reported the couple was fighting. Brown reportedly told Dep. Sims Jackson has lived with him on and off for several years, but he recently moved in a new house guest, leading to an argument with Jackson. Brown alleged Jackson pulled a knife and said she was going to kill him, then he left to call authorities. Jackson said they were arguing over another woman in the home and alleged Brown grabbed her shoulders, then shoved her against a wall, dresser and bed. Both were taken into custody and given a conditional release. Brown is charged with domestic battery.
