Turkey Grand Slam on Display at Library

A Turkey Grand Slam is a prestigious hunting achievement requiring the harvest of the four main U.S. wild turkey subspecies: the Eastern, Merriam’s, Rio Grande, and Osceola (Florida) turkeys. It is recognized by organizations like the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF). Add a Gould’s to a Grand Slam and you’ve got a Royal Slam. A Royal Slam from the estate of Steve Cherry is on display at the Calhoun County Public Library. Go check it out!
