A routine traffic stop ended in a drug arrest last week. Christopher Scott Crutchfield, 30, has been charged with trafficking and manufacture of meth. According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Dep. Nick Keller pulled Crutchfield over at the corner of Evans Street and CR 274 in Altha after noticing his windshield was severely cracked and the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. A search of the vehicle turned up a duffle bag containing items used in the production of meth. Crutchfield was booked into the Calhoun County Jail and remained in custody at press time.
