Tracy Wood to serve as Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal

Blountstown High School is proud to announce Principal Tracy Wood as the Grand Marshal of this year’s Homecoming Parade.

For 39 years, Principal Wood has dedicated her heart and talent to the Blountstown community. What she loves most about BHS is “the spirit of BHS—it feels like family.” She says the students inspire her every day, and she treats each one as her own.

Assistant Principal Link Barber shared his admiration for her dedication: “She is a very hard worker and she’s never absent. She’s the first here and the last to leave, and the students are always first. Her work ethic is top notch.”

Join us in celebrating Principal Wood’s remarkable serv- ice during the Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 3, at 12:30 p.m., as the community gathers to honor her lasting impact on generations of Blountstown students.
