Tigers edged by Sneads, 58-56; host Bozeman Friday night

The Blountstown Tigers were edged by Sneads Friday night at home, 58-56. “We were 6 for 16 from the free throw line,” says Coach Tony Davis. “That was terrible. We had too many turnovers and that’s basically what cost us the game. And they out rebounded us.” Leading scorers for BHS were P.J. Buggs with 15 points and Brion Simmons with 13. The Tigers were set to take on South Walton on Tuesday, travel to West Gadsden on Thursday, then host Bozeman Friday in the “Hoops for Hope” pink games beginning at 4:30 p.m.
