Tigers defeat Bulldogs in first meeting of the season

The Blountstown Tigers and the defending Class 1A State Champion Liberty County Bulldogs met for the first time this season Thursday in the Bulldogs’ gym  A packed house of screaming fans witnessed some outstanding volleyball by both teams.  The Tigers came out on top after five sets to improve their record to 13-3 as they continue to climb in the state rankings.  The Blountstown JV also defeated the Bulldogs’ JV.  The Tigers and Bulldogs will meet again October 5th in Blountstown.  For comments from coach Summers and photos from the game
