Teacher Feature

by Raphael Askiew Amanda Griffin is a phenomenal teacher. She is hard working and dedicated to her job. Miss Griffin attended Chipola College and Florida State University. She is certified to teach Family and Consumer Science, ESE, and Middle Grades. Her desire to see students succeed explains her dedication to her job. Teaching a cooking class inspired Miss Griffin to become a teacher. Her love of learning makes her a great teacher. Her idea of a perfect student is, “Anyone who’s determined to learn and is respectful.” She has the qualities that students like to see in their teachers. Miss Griffin is also a loving mother. She has a three year old son, Colton, and is crazy about spending time with him. Her favorite place to be is at home with her son. She as well enjoys being with her family, cooking and trying new recipes. Her favorite set of books is the Twilight series. If Miss Griffin were not a teacher, she would consider a career as an event planner. Miss Griffin teaches reading and integrated science at BHS where her fun spirit shines through. She is a bright feature to Blountstown High!
