BY COACH GREG JORDANThe Tigers opened up the 2010 football season on Monday, May 3rd, when spring practice kicked off. It’s hard to believe that football time is here again! The current 9th,10th and 11th graders will come out and try to anchor down starting positions for the fall with a three week spring. The 8th graders will also participate and get an early start on the 2010 JV football season. The spring will culminate with a HOME spring football game here at Bowles Field on Thursday, May 20th, vs Liberty County. We will have a lot of new faces out trying to earn starting positions this spring. We had a good senior class this past season and the current junior class will have big shoes to fill. One constant in high school athletics is change with the turnover of players from one year to the next. But that is also what makes it special. Looking forward to a good spring practice and hope to see you at the Spring Game on the 20th. Go, Tigers!!!
