Shots fired, schools locked down

Blountstown schools were put on lockdown midday Friday after a suspect was accused of firing shots at his ex-girlfriend’s house, then speeding away. A two-county search ended in the arrests of Nicholas Norris Kerr, charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharging a firearm in public, and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, and Edward Norris Young, 24, charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
