Rosa Ruth Butler

Rosa Ruth Butler, 95, of Marianna, Florida, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009, in Marianna. She was born in Dothan, Alabama, to Southward “Shorty” Thomas and Ella Butler. She lived in Blountstown for many years and was a member of Macedonia First Baptist Church and was a retired cook.She is survived by three sons, Franklin N. Butler of DeRitter, Louisiana, Roy Butler of Quincy, Florida, and Tom Butler of Sneads, Florida; two sisters, Juanita Mears of Altha, Florida, and Nancy Hinson of Sneads; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 1, in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown with Reverend Charles A.
