Residential search warrant leads to four drug related arrests

On April 9, 2026, at approximately 0615 hours, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division Narcotics Unit, in conjunction with the North Star Multijurisdictional Drug Task Force, and deputies with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office executed a residential search warrant at 20784 NE Bay Street, Blountstown, Florida. The search warrant was issued due to an active investigation into the sale and use of illegal narcotics within the residence .

During the search, investigators located over 30 grams of methamphetamine, synthetic cannabinoids, and drug paraphernalia throughout the residence and on multiple individuals present at the scene.

Based on the findings during the search warrant, the following subjects were arrested:

Jesse Peterson:
F.S.S. 893.13(1)(a): Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) with Intent to Sell
F.S.S. 823.05: Maintaining a Nuisance House

Heather Pierce:
F.S.S. 893.13(6)(a): Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
F.S.S. 893.147: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Anita Hall:
F.S.S. 893.135: Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
Bruce Brown: F.S.S. 893.03: Possession of Synthetic Cannabinoids

Fred Maxwell Jones: 
F.S.S. 893.13(6)(a): Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
