Pursuit ends on River St.; driver had felony warrant, drugs in her possession

On June 17, 2024 Calhoun and Liberty County Narcotics Investigators and Deputies attempted to stop a silver Nissan car driven by Demi Ammon’s in Liberty County, who has a Suspended Driver’s License and  an active Felony arrest warrant from Leon County for Violation of Probation.

Ammon’s refused to stop, leading Investigators and Deputies on a pursuit that ended in Calhoun County.

During the pursuit, Ammon’s was seen discarding a clear plastic bag on the Trammell Bridge, which was later located and collected.  The bag was found to have contained Methamphetamine.

Once Ammon’s was stopped on River St in Blountstown, Ammon’s was taken into custody without incident.  More Methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle in the driver’s seat.

 Ammon’s is being charged with the following  violations:

• Violation of Probation (State)

• Driving while License Suspended or Revoked

• Fleeing and Eluding Police

• Tampering with Evidence

• Possession of Control Substance (Meth)
