What an incredible two days it was with the America
250 Freedom Truck! We welcomed 1,168 visitors through our doors; wow!! We are definitely a little worn out, but even more grateful that this amazing traveling museum made a stop right here in Calhoun County. Seeing our community come together to learn, explore, and celebrate history has been so special.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported this event; you made it unforgettable!
We are beyond proud of our amazing library staff who poured so much time, energy, and heart into making these two days run smoothly. You all truly made it happen.
Special thanks to Alex, Josh, and Jackie, the Freedom Truck crew, who quickly became honorary members of our library family. We loved having you here! And the biggest shoutout goes to our library director, Wendy Eubanks, for taking a chance and submitting us to be a stop for the Freedom Truck. Because of you, our community got to experience something truly special. Calhoun County showed up in the best way, and we couldn’t be more thankful!!
