Mrs. Ella Mae (Godshall) Detweiler, 91, of Blountstown, FL, passed away, Sunday, August 21, 2011, at her home. Ella Mae was born on March 13, 1920, in Harleysville, PA, and had lived in Calhoun County since 1954, coming from Pennsylvania. She was a homemaker and a member of Rivertown Community Church in Blountstown. Ella Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Detweiler. Survivors include five daughters, Elaine Anders and husband, Jerry, of Bristol, FL, Mary Jane Shirk and husband, Stanley, of Lyndhurst, VA, Sharon Yoder and her husband, David, Ruth Ann Eberly and husband, Doyle, and Carolyn Brock and her husband, Danny, all of Blountstown; one son, Merrill Detweiler, and wife, Marie, of Tallahassee, FL; 17 grandchildren, Curtis Anders, Bruce Anders, Brian Anders, Patty Fant, Philip Detweiler, Edwin Detweiler, Deb Horst, Sandi Sanford, Gabriel Yoder, Shannon Ziesemer, Joshua Yoder, Joanna Martin, Caroline Yoder, Derek Eberly, Robin Haussman, Lynn Beaver and Edward Brock; and a host of great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, at 2 pm (CDT) at Rivertown Community Church with Paul Smith and Dan Yoder officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Memorial Cemetery in Blountstown. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (ph. 674-2266).
