Mrs. Della Amos, 70, of Blountstown, FL, passed away Saturday night, October 15, 2011, in Blountstown. Della was born on March 8, 1941, in Atmore, AL, and had lived here for the past 15 years. She was a retired restaurant waitress and cook and a member of the Holiness faith. Survivors include three sons, Dan Thomas Daniels, Jr. and his wife, Renee, of Wewahitchka, FL, Robert L. Daniels and his wife, Marcie, of Apalachicola, FL, Richard E. Daniels and his wife, Tammy, of Columbus, MS; two brothers, Norman Hall and his wife, Judy, of Bristol, FL, and Junior Hall and his wife, Martha, of Rabon, AL; three sisters, Edna Brown of Bristol, Nell Bryant of Gatlinburg, TN, and Kathy Dabney and her husband, Eddie, of Bristol; and one grandson, Evan Daniels, of New Orleans, LA. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 18, at 2 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tony Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in Buckhorn Cemetery in Wewahitchka. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 18, from 12 noon until 2 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (674-2266).
