DONA MYRL SUMMERLIN
Mrs. Dona Myrl Summerlin, age 83, of Altha, FL, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022, at her home in Altha, FL. Mrs. Myrl was born on February 23, 1939, in Calhoun County, FL to Robert Bailey and Lois (Cain) Bailey. She was an accountant for several Turner’s Department stores where she worked as a bookkeeper. She worked with the FBI. She and her husband owned and operated Summerlin Motors for 30+ years. Mrs. Myrl loved cooking, going to Biloxi, reading or listening to John Grisham books on tape. She loved the mountains in the fall, facebook, and Christmas, but most of all she loved her family. She is preceded in death by: parents Robert and Lois (Cain) Bailey, husband Jessie L. “J.L.” Summerlin, Daughter Donna Jean Elliott – Putnal, brother Howard Bailey, Sr., sister Faye Bailey Booth, grandson Bryan Elliott, and sister-in-law Louise Nichols.
She is survived by her son, Joseph “Joey” Summerlin and Armida of Marianna, FL, daughter Tammie Summerlin of Altha, FL; grandchildren, Summer L. Edwards and Adarrell of St. Petersburg, FL, Aaron Summerlin of Mobile, AL, Sgt. Jessie W. Summerlin and Susie stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC, Andrei Summerlin of Marianna, FL, Nathan “Nat Nat” Summerlin of Marianna, FL, great grandson, Aston Edwards of St. Petersburg, FL. sister-in-law, Margie Hollis and a host of nieces and nephews and family and friends. Special thanks are given from the family to the wonderful ladies from Covenant Hospice, Emily, Katrina, and Maya.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 2:00 PM (CT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown, FL with family and friends officiating. The family received friends on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 1:00 PM (CT) until service time at 2:00 PM (CT). Interment followed at Page Pond cemetery, in Altha, FL.

LOUIE CLIFFORD SUTTON
Mr. Louie Clifford Sutton of Apalachicola, FL, passed away on Friday, October 7,2022 at the age of 79. He was born on April 24, 1943 in Quincy, FL, to L.C. Sutton and Minnie Merle (Deese) Sutton. Clifford was a man of many trades. He took over his father’s insurance route, worked for St. Joe Paper Mill, and was the co-owner of Eastpoint Pawn. Clifford enjoyed welding, bass fishing, deer hunting, and poker. He was preceded in death by his father L.C. Sutton, and mother Merle Pollock. He is survived by wife of 44 years, Lauralie Sutton, son Clifford Sutton of Mississippi, and legal guardian of Bradley Page, siblings Wayne Sutton and Carol (M.D.) of Blountstown, FL, and Buell Sutton and Cheryl of Okeechobee, FL, grandchildren Cliff Sutton and Emily Sutton, great grandson Waylon Sutton of Mississippi. Also left to cherish his memories are Red Sizemore and Sylvia and his special sister Michelle Sizemore.
There are no funeral services planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation.
