Obituaries – July 20th 2022


Lillian Verlie Fant Bramblette, 87 of Altha, Florida passed away on July 15, 2022. Lillian was born April 24, 1935, to Albert and Trudie Fant in Calhoun County, where she lived her whole life. Lillian was a homemaker who enjoyed the chance to feed her grandchildren, to keep the neighborhood kids, to be in the outdoors, and to go fishing. She was a member of Travelers Rest Freewill Baptist Church. Lillian is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Trudie Mae Brooks Fant, grandchild, Benjamin Bramblette, siblings, Robert, Edward, and Eugene Fant, Julia O’Bryan, Beneva Mayo, Carolyn Anemos. 

Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Clydus Bramblette Jr. of Altha, FL; children, Verlie Bass of Lynn Haven, FL, Benny (Charity) of Chipley, FL; grandchildren, Michelle Bass of Panama City, FL, Matthew Bramblette (Christin) of Panama City, FL, Elizabeth DorOBITUARIESman (John) of Altha, FL, Colton Bramblette of Chipley, FL; Great grandchildren, Pyper, Harper, Dominic, Colby, Scarlytt; twin brother, William Fant, Sr of Marianna, FL; sisters, Dollie Fant Mercer (Gene) of Sneads, FL, Thelma Fant of Marianna, FL, Karen Blackburn (Lloyd) of Clarksville, FL, Jennie Stricker of Altha, FL. 

Funeral services will held Thursday July 21, 2022, at 10:00 AM (CT) at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allan Austin officiating. Interment will follow at Travelers Rest Cemetery.
