NEWS ALERT – Blountstown Man Injured In Collision

Two men were transported to an area hospital following a two-vehicle collision on State Road 20 early this morning.According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Donny Grantham, 30, was eastbound on SR 20, just east of Tallahassee Boulevard, in a 2000 Ford Taurus just before 5:30 a.m. At the same time, Carlos Byrd, 28, of Tallahassee, was westbound in a 2006 International truck. The left side of Grantham’s vehicle crossed the center line and entered the path of Byrd’s truck. Both vehicles rotated counter clockwise with the truck overturning and blocking both lanes of traffic. Grantham was taken to Bay Medical Center in serious condition. Byrd was also transported to Bay Medical with minor injuries.Trooper C. Condo-Varner investigated the crash and charged Grantham with failure to maintain a single lane.
