NEWS ALERT – Blountstown Man Arrested in Marianna on drug charges

A Blountstown man has been taken into custody by Jackson County authorities following a traffic stop that turned up drugs. Tommy Darrell Hill, 55, of Go Cart Road, was pulled over by the Marianna Police Department Wednesday, June 1, just after 8:30 p.m., on Penn Avenue under the I-10 overpass. He was found in possession of an estimated 1.2 grams of powder cocaine. More details in our next print edition.
