By Braicee Dietz 5th Grade Reporter Mrs. Wendy Guilford was honored to be Calhoun County School District’s teacher of the year. Her 5th grade students love her very much. Mrs. Guilford is very loving and caring to her students. She may be a silly teacher and very fun, but she’s a really good teacher and she deserved teacher of the year. Mrs. Wendy Guilford said, “I believe the most rewarding thing about teaching is relationships I have been able to form with my students. I also love to witness a child understanding a concept for the first time. It is awesome to see their eyes light up and see the smiles across their faces when they learn something new.” Mrs. Guilford is a friend, as well as a great teacher.
