Meet Calhoun County’s First Baby of New Year Kaylee Rosemary Keith, born January 2

Calhoun County’s first baby of 2010 arrived Saturday, January 2, at 5:03 p.m at Jackson Hospital. The daughter of Tiffany Ballard and Jason Keith of Blountstown, little Kaylee measured 18-3/4 inches in length and weighed in at just five pounds, 10 ounces.As a new mom, Tiffany says the birthing experience was a little more than she had anticipated. “It was a lot worse at the end,” she remarked with a laugh. “I had no clue!”Mother and baby, along with a very proud daddy, were all doing fine on Monday when they arrived back at their Blountstown home where a host of family and friends welcomed Calhoun County’s newest citizen!
