Local Vets honor the fallen

Four Veterans, representing three local Veterans organizations, placed a wreath at the Calhoun County Courthouse Monument on Memorial Day.  (Left to right) Gary McGee of the Apalachee Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 12010 (Calhoun and Liberty County), Doyle Combs and Ray Weidner of American Legion Post 272 (Blountstown), and Calhoun County Veteran Service Officer Eric Daniels salute beneath the U.
