Local Lions Club creates the “Little Lions” program

The Calhoun-Liberty Lions Club has created a program called “Lions for Littles”. The club implemented this program as a way to provide comfort for children who find themselves in an extremely stressful situation. The Calhoun-Liberty Lions Club donated several stuffed lions, outfitted with Lions Club International vests, to Calhoun and Liberty County Law Enforcement agencies. These lions were provided to officers and will be kept in their patrol cars to be given to children as needed.

We want to thank Liberty County Sheriff’s Department, Blountstown Police Department and Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department for letting us be a part of their outreach to the communities.

If you would like to help support this program with a monetary donation you can contact us on Facebook or call Presdient Allen Curl at 850-624-3301 or Vice President Debra Duncan at 850-643-7753.
