

On January 6th, Liberty County Sheriff Deputy Mark Crosby, along with Sergeant Taylor Lowery, served arrest warrants for Rosie Lewis and Richard Burke of Hosford.
When Burke was taken into custody for his active warrant, Deputies found crystal methamphetamine on his person.
Burke was charged with the following: Violation of Probation (warrant) and Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Lewis was taken into custody for an active failure to appear warrant.

Recently, Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Randy Veasey, along with K9 Deputy John Cessna, conducted a traffic stop in Bristol. During the stop, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. Deputies located cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
The driver of the vehicle, James Pybus was arrested and taken to the Liberty County Jail.
Pybus was charged with the following: Possession of a Controlled substance (cocaine),
Manufacture of drug paraphernalia, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and Violation of Probation.
This is Pybus’s fourth drug-related arrest within the last year.
