The Liberty County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing construction services for the following project:

HOSFORD PARK FENCING 

IMPROVEMENTS

The Liberty County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified contractors to respond to this Request for Bid for the construction of Hosford Park Fencing Improvements located at 15759 Moore St, Hosford, FL 32334.  The proposed Hosford Park Fencing Improvements shall be the construction of approximately 550’ of 4’ commercial chain link fence and relocating approximately 575’ of 6’ chain link outfield fence. 

A bid form can be obtained from Noah Byler with Dewberry Engineers Inc. at nbyler@dewberry.com.  For questions and/or scheduling a site visit, please call Tommy Duggar at (850) 556-4806.  The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes.

Completion date for this project will be 30 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder.

Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $50.00 per day.

Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid, for the “HOSFORD PARK FENCING IMPROVEMENTS”.

Bids will be received until 4:30 p.m. (EST), on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, at the Liberty County Clerk’s Office, Liberty County Courthouse, 10818 NW S.R. 20, Bristol, Florida 32321, and will be opened and read aloud on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 at 4:35 p.m. (EST). The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder at the Liberty County Board of County Commissioner’s meeting on Thursday, November 9th, 2023, at 6:00 PM (EST) in the Liberty County Courthouse, 10818 NW SR 20, Bristol, FL 32321.

NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS

The City of Blountstown will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in constructing the: 

BLOUNTSTOWN BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT

This project shall include preparation of planting areas and installation of plantings within the FDOT right of way along SR 20 and SR 71 in Blountstown, FL.

Plans and specifications can be obtained at Dewberry Engineers Inc., 20684 Central Avenue East, Blountstown, Florida 32424. For questions, please contact Colton Purvis at (850) 571-1178 or cpurvis@dewberry.com. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes.

Completion date for this project will be 60 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder.  

Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid for the “Blountstown Beautification Improvements.”

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 9:00 AM CST at the City Manager’s Office in the Blountstown City Hall, 20591 Central Avenue West, Blountstown, FL 32424. 

Bids will be received until Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 10:00 AM CST at the City Manager’s Office in the Blountstown City Hall, 20591 Central Avenue West, Blountstown, FL 32424, and will be opened and read aloud on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 10:05 AM CST.

The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder.

Cost for Plans and Specifications will be $50.00 per set and is non-refundable. Checks should be made payable to DEWBERRY ENGINEERS INC. Digital copies will be available free of charge.

The City of Blountstown reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All Bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida.

RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION

Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the City may not request documentation of or consider a vendor’s social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
