The Calhoun County School Board proposes to add and amend policies as required by Florida Statute for the Calhoun County School District as follows:

CHAPTER 3 – SCHOOL ADMINSTRATION

CHAPTER 4 – CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION

Policy 4.22 – Educational Media Materials Selection

Delete 
Policy 4.30 – Challenged Materials – Challenge protocols incorporated into instructional and media selection policies

CHAPTER 6 – HUMAN RESOURCES

Policy 6.17 – Appointment or Employment Requirements
Policy 6.29 – Report of Misconduct
Policy 6.31 – Records and Reports

Entire proposals are available for viewing at the School Superintendent’s Office, Room G-20, Calhoun County Court House, Blountstown, Florida.

A final policy hearing will be held on the above policies at the Regular School Board meeting beginning at 5:00 P.M., CST, Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at the Blountstown High School Auditorium, 18597 NE SR 69, Blountstown, Florida 32424.

ORDINANCE NOTICE

IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Ordinance No. 2022-05 of the City of Blountstown, AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITILED:

AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED:  AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 40, ARTICLE V, SECTION 40-202 OF THE BLOUNTSTOWN CITY CODE; AN ORDINANCE SETTING FORTH BASE RATE CHARGES FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICE FOR RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL USES; SETTING FORTH DEPOSITS REQUIRED FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICE; SETTING FORTH RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR METER BASES, SECURITY LIGHTING , AND CONNECTIONS; SETTING FORTH RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR MISCELLANEOUS ELECTRIC SERVICES; REPEALING CONFLICTING RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

SHALL BE PRESENTED to the City Council, City of Blountstown, for second and final adoption at the Regular City Council meeting to be held Tuesday, the 8th day of November 2022 at 5:00 P.M. in the City Council Meeting room at 17262 NW Angle Street, Blountstown, FL. 32424.

This ordinance shall become effective upon final passage as provided by law.

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS desiring to be heard on the adoption of the aforesaid Ordinance No. 2022-05 are cordially invited to be in attendance at this meeting.

COPIES OF THIS ORDINANCE in its entirety may be obtained at City Hall, 20591 Central Avenue West, Blountstown, Florida 32424 between the working hours of M-F, 7:00A.M. To 4:00 P.M.
