LCHS Wrestlers having a big season

The Liberty County Wrestling Team headed to Lake City on December 17th for the Tiger Duals. Jay Brown, 120lbs,  went 4-0, Hunter Brown, 126 lbs, went 4-0, Keaton Ellis, 132lbs, went 3-0, Mason Geiger, 220Lbs, went 3-1, and Scout Harr, 285lbs, went 3-1. The team had 2 wrestlers out due to sickness. 

On Dec 21st, the wrestlers traveled to Homewood, Alabama, for the Patriot Scramble tournament.  The boys did great, had some tough matches with 4 placing in the top ten. 126-Jay Brown, 3rd place, 132-Hunter Brown, 4th place, 220-Mason Geiger 9th place, 285-Scout Harr, 6th place. Everyone battled hard with Keaton Ellis winning some tough matches and Jacob Wade getting great experience in his first season wrestling. This  tournament provided some of the best competition wrestling has to offer. Give the guys a big pat on the back if you see them around.  In our second season, the team has 3 of our guys ranked in the top 16 of the state.
