Lady Tigers rebuilding after losing eight seniors; will host Franklin Co.

The Blountstown Lady Tigers are at 2-2 on the season after a loss to Sneads Monday night at home, 18-25, 25-23, 15-25, 14-25. “We lost eight seniors so we’re still in the process of rebuilding,” says Coach Tanya Durham. “We’re young, but great potential is there.” Jordan Griffin led BHS with 10 kills, followed by Hope Jerkins with six and Kristin Jenkins with three. Savannah Pitts had four aces and six assists. Kim Jenks provided three aces and six digs. Randa McCroan offered five assists. The Lady Tigers host Franklin County on Thursday with J.V. at 5 and varsity at 6. They travel to Chipley for a tournament on Saturday, then Altha on Monday. Game time at Altha is 5 p.m. for J.V. and varsity at 6.
