Johnnie Mae McCollum

Mrs. Johnnie Mae McCollum, 71, of Blountstown, FL, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009, in Panama City, FL.Mrs. McCollum was born on April 10, 1938, in Calhoun County and lived here all of her life. Johnnie worked at Bill’s Dollar Store in Blountstown for over 15 years. She was of the Protestant faith.Survivors include two sons, Daniel M. McCollum and his wife, Lisa, and Gary R. McCollum and his wife, Stephanie, all of of Milledgeville, GA; one daughter, Marissa McCollum Drew, of Milledgeville, GA; one brother, James Bryant, of Colorado; one sister, Vickie Drussell, of Tallahassee, FL; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Funeral services were held Saturday, June 27, at 3 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Blountstown with Rev. Shelton Kindig officiating. Interment followed in the Nettle Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown.All arrangements were under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (ph. 850-674-2266).
