Harris signs with Gulf Coast Lady Commodores

Cortney LeAnne Harris, a recent graduate of Altha High School, recently signed a volleyball scholarship with the Gulf Coast State Lady Commodores in Panama City. Cortney was the Captain of her Varsity squad and was instrumental in leading her team to two regional appearances as a varsity player. She received the Lady Wildcat Award, Spiking Award and Setter Award while a Varsity player at Altha School. “She will be an asset to any program, simply because she values hard work and knows what it takes to be good,” says Coach LeAnna Hall. “I look forward to seeing her play at the collegiate level. She is the second Lady Wildcat to ever sign a volleyball scholarship. We at Altha School are super proud of her and her accomplishments.” Cortney is the daughter of Scott and Carylee Sewell, of Blountstown and Ron Harris, of Grand Ridge.
