Liberty County Sheriff Dusty Arnold was pleased to announce that all four goats stolen from Liberty County High School were safely recovered, and Jimmy Ashton Cowell has been arrested in connection with the theft.
Cowell has been charged with:
* Four counts of Grand Theft (3rd Degree Felony – one count for each goat)
* Trespassing
* Criminal Mischief
“I want to extend my sincere appreciation to Sheriff Tommy Ford and the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Highway Patrol, and, as always, the dedicated men and women of the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office for their outstanding teamwork and commitment to bringing his case to a successful conclusion,” Arnold stated.
