A longtime leader in Calhoun County passed away last week. Pack Bowden, 69, of Altha, died early Thursday at Calhoun-Liberty Hospital. Back in the mid ‘60s to mid ‘70s, Bowden served as Altha’s mayor, then for two terms in the 90s, he was the district 2 representative on the Calhoun County Commission.
