Last week, Calhoun County Public Library Director, Mrs. Wendy Eubanks, and assistant director, Mrs. Ladonna Kelley, had the opportunity to attend the Building Resilient Communities forum at Florida State University!
This interdisciplinary event brought together researchers, educators, and community leaders to explore how communication, research, and collaboration can help communities prepare for challenges, respond to crises, and grow stronger together. The forum also highlighted applied research efforts through FSU’s Resilience Institute for Strength and Empowerment (RISE), which focuses on real-world solutions that support resilient, informed, and connected communities.
Their participation reflects our continued commitment to learning, growth, and bringing innovative ideas back to better serve our community. We’re proud to have leadership that invests in opportunities like this to strengthen the work we do every da!
