Elam’s latest expedition

Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam and Attorney General Pam Bondi joined four explorers of the Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition Monday for Day 63 of the team’s 1,000-mile, 100-day trek from the Everglades to the Okefenokee. The team includes Blountstown’s own award-winning documentary filmmaker, Elam Stoltzfus. Commissioner Putnam and Attorney General Bondi started the day in the St. Johns National Wildlife Refuge, paddling several miles north on the St. Johns River. The Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition Team, comprised of photographer Carlton Ward, Jr., biologist Joe Guthrie, conservationist Mallory Lykes Dimmitt and filmmaker Elam Stoltzfus, are hiking, biking and paddling the 1,000-mile journey to raise awareness for the Florida Wildlife Corridor – a visionary project to connect natural lands and waters throughout Florida into South Georgia.
