Education Commissioner recognizes Oglesby for partnering with schools

The Calhoun County School Board meeting opened last Tuesday with an award presentation. Mary McKenzie of Oglesby Plants International was presented with the 23rd Annual Commissioner’s Business Recognition Award. The award is given by Florida Education Commissioner Eric Smith to honor businesses who partner with schools. The Calhoun County School Board nominated Oglesby in appreciation for their partnership on several agriculture related projects in the local school system. McKenzie is shown receiving the award from School Board Chairwoman Kelly King and Superintendent Tommy McClellan.
