City Council Video Clarification

The County Record reported in our print edition this week that we would be providing live video from the Blountstown City Council meeting on the utility bill issue due to several phone calls from citizens. However, when we went to the meeting Tuesday, no one was there to speak about the matter and it was not on the agenda. City Manager James Woods advised that questions from citizens about their utility bills are being handled at City Hall. Woods further noted that the rates have not been raised, but utility usage has gone up due to cold temperatures.
