Charles Claude Alvin Goodwin

Mr. Charles Claude Alvin Goodwin, 78, of Altha, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009, at his home.Mr. Goodwin was born in Hastings, FL, on April 1, 1931, and had lived in Calhoun County for the past 11 years. Charles was a retired security guard at Lawnwood Medical Center. Mr. Goodwin was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the United States Air Force. He was of the Protestant faith.Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Magdalene Lewis Goodwin, and a son, Stephen Barber.Survivors include his daughter, Dianna Tissue, and her husband, Ronald, of Blountstown; one sister, Beatrice Storrey, of Pembroke Pines; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at a later date.
