Carr School has some changes on staff for 2023-24 school year including a new SRO

The Carr School faculty & staff are getting prepared for the 2023-2024 school year! We have some changes on our staff for this upcoming year:

Mrs. Christina Morse will be teaching Kindergarten.

Mrs. Megan Barrett has joined the Carr School team to teach 1st grade.

Mrs. Madison Zorn will be teaching 4th & 5th grade ELA.

Mrs. Morgan Leonard will be teaching 6th grade ELA, 6th & 7th grade Intensive Reading, & providing ESE inclusion support.

Mrs. Treva McCroan has returned to Carr School to teach 6th-8th grade Math.

Mrs. Mandy Hires will be the Media Aide.

Mrs. Cindy Welch has joined the Carr School team as a custodian.

Mrs. Makaela Marks has joined the Carr School team as the PreK Health Aide.

Mr. Jed Danley will be our new School Resource Officer. Officer Danley has been with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office since June of 2020.  He has served as the SRO at Altha Public School for two years.  Carr School looks forward to having Officer Danley as part of the Carr School Staff.

We are all excited for the upcoming school year and can’t wait to welcome students back to school on August 10th!
