He will face incumbent David Blair.Tony Shoemake has announced plans to run for re-election to his Ward 4 seat.In Altha, Wes Johnston has filed to run for mayor and Rick Watson for Town Council.Official qualifying for elective offices in Calhoun County began at noon Monday and continues until noon on Friday, June 18. All paperwork must be completed and turned in to the Elections Office no later than the noon deadline on Friday. By state law, there can be no exceptions.
