The County Record has learned that warrants have been issued for the arrests of two suspects in an alleged case of insurance fraud at Calhoun-Liberty Hospital. According to the Blountstown Police Department, Dallas Hogans, 26, of Bristol, and Cedric Bernard Simmons, 34, of Blountstown, are being charged with conspiracy to commit insurance fraud. The pair reportedly obtained three life insurance policies totalling $200,000 on an elderly hospital patient. Hogans worked as a housekeeping employee at the hospital and was recently fired.
