Blountstown Man Arrested On Charges Of Unemployment Compensation Fraud

A Blountstown man has been arrested for unemployment compensation fraud.Ralph Waterman, 45, was taken into custody Thursday.According to an affidavit filed in the case, Waterman collected unemployment from January 3, 2009, to June 6, 2009, and claimed he was receiving no income during that period. However, authorities learned he had been paid $5,949 from an employer during that period, resulting in an overpayment of unemployment compensation in the amount of $4,149.
