Each fall thousands of students audition to be selected for the Florida Music Educators’ Association’s (FMEA) All-State Music Ensemble, the highest honor Florida middle and high school students can receive. This year, six BHS vocalists were selected amongst the best of the best in the state of Florida to perform at the FMEA Convention in Tampa this January.

Trinity DeVuyst – 8th Grade – Middle School Treble Chorus
Ellaine Medalle – 8th Grade – Middle School Treble Chorus
Once a student is chosen to be a participant in an All-State choir, they become ranked as one of the top musicians in the state.
After passing 3 rigorous auditions, selected students participate in a four-day music conference. During the conference, students rehearse with the finest conductors in the country to perform music that is of the highest quality in the celebrated FMEA All-State Concerts, which are well attended by music educators from across the state and country.
