Thirteen students from Blountstown High School finished their 3rd and final test to compete for a spot in the Florida All-State Choirs. Thousands of choral students from around the state compete for a place in one of the choirs. To be selected to participate in a Florida All-State Choir is the highest honor any student can achieve. A state committee will listen to their recorded vocal performance and announce the All-State choirs in mid November. When selected, students will attend the Florida Music Educators Conference in Tampa in January. They will rehearse for three days with Nationally and Internationally known conductors and perform concerts at the close of the conference.
