In an effort to give local families Christmas for their children, Student Government recently held a toy drive around school. If the students brought in toys they were promised a homework pass and the first period class with the most toys brought in would be given a doughnut breakfast. The students brought in a grand total of 255 toys that will be divided among those deserving families. Student Government was working in conjunction with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and the Blountstown Fire Department in support of Fire and Iron Motorcycle Club to collect toys for area children who are participating in the Guardian ad Litem program.
