Mrs. Bertie E. (Brooks) Whitus, 79, of Altha, FL, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 19, 2011, at her home. Funeral services were held Friday, January 21, at 1:00 pm (CST) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Old Shiloh Cemetery in Altha. All arrangements were under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (ph. 674-2266).
