Apalachicola River Flathead Catfish Tournament Trail Winners

The Apalachicola River Flathead Catfish Tournament Trail continued in Liberty County Friday and Saturday.The event was sponsored by the Hosford-Telogia Volunteer Fire Department and held at the Bristol Landing. Winners include (pictured above, from left) Cynthia Sumner (1st place,25.90 lb.), Jeff Clements (2nd and 4th place, 24.70 lb. and 24.25 lb.), Sterling Phillips (3rd place, 24.40 lb.), James Cox (biggest non-flathead, 19.20 lb.), and Jamie Lee (most flathead pounds at 114.15 lb.).The final stop on this year’s Tournament Trail will be at the Gaskin Park Landing in Wewahitchka where the Florida Catfish Classic will be held Sept. 25 & 26.
