5K And Fun Run Held At Three Rivers State Park

The Marianna Area Runners Club (M.A.R.C.) and Sneads High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes hosted a 5K run/walk and 1 mile fun run Saturday at Three Rivers State Park in Sneads. Several members of the Calhoun Area Road Runners (CARR) Club competed and brought home awards. The campers will be encouraged to be “INSIDE OUT” spiritually and athletically as they spend time pursuing the goals set before them. “INSIDE OUT’ is about transformation, and it can only start by looking in the heart. “As much as you desire to change behavior, it will never stick unless you change the inside. There needs to be a renovation. Before you begin to think about changing the world … or your teammates, first you need to change. Being an ‘INSIDE OUT’ Christian is about sacrifice, commitment and surrender.”
