The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a hit and run accident that occurred Sunday afternoon.
Rufus D. “Charlie” Lee, 67, of Blountstown, was reportedly northbound on CR 69-A when he was met in a curve by a southbound truck. The other vehicle allegedly crossed the center line and caused driver’s side mirrors on both vehicles to make contact. Lee’s mirror shattered, sending glass into his vehicle and cutting his face. The other vehicle continued southbound and left the scene.
The suspect vehicle is described as a mid-1990s red and silver Chevrolet long wheel base pickup.
