Local COVID-19 positive cases above state average
The Department of Health in Calhoun and Liberty County (DOH-Calhoun/Liberty) is reporting a surge in COVID-19 cases and urges all citizens to take precautions during the New Year’s holiday celebrations. The positivity rate for Calhoun and Liberty County greatly surpasses the statewide rate. The updated 7-day average percent positivity for Calhoun County is 23.22% and 19.19% for Liberty County; compared to the statewide rate of 10.86%.

New ambulance presented to hospital
The Calhoun County Board of County Commissioners presented the keys for a new ambulance to Calhoun County EMS Tuesday morning at Calhoun-Liberty Hospital. Funding for the $220,000.00 ambulance was made possible through the State of Florida CARES Grant fund for COVID-19.

Dear Santa,
Every year you have always been good to me and never gave me cole or anything I did not like. I really appreciate it and I am really thankful for what you do every single year. I woud like to ubux or for Thomas my elf to say longer or a new trampoline or xbox 1 seriews and a dog and that is it. I have not been good but I would really appreciate it if you could do that and this year I will leave extra cookies and milk. Thank you.
